Western Cape Catering & Refrigeration Equipment cc is in entitled to request and receive the consumer’s credit information for lawful purposes subject to Section 68 of the National Credit Act (NCA) read with Regulations 18(4) and 18(5) and for any other purpose that TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability is lawfully entitled to disclose.

Western Cape Catering and Refrigeration Equipment cc will at all times comply with the requirements for the receipt, compilation and reporting of information as prescribed by NCA and any other legislation.

Western Cape Catering and Refrigeration Equipment cc shall, when using the services of TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability, have obtained all Consents required by the NCA.

Western Cape Catering and Refrigeration Equipment cc will give all customers 20 business days notice of its intention to submit adverse customers credit information in respect of the customers to TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability.

WCC has taken reasonable steps to ensure that the information it reports to TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability is accurate, up-to-date, relevant, valid and not duplicated.

WCC will not submit customers credit information in respect of a debt that has been prescribed in terms of Prescription Act 68 or 1969, to TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability.

WCC does not and will not (unless lawfully entitled to do so) take upfront fee to remove or clear a persons name from the records of the bureau.

Any adverse customers credit information submitted by WCC to TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability does not from part of any dispute between WCC and the customer.

WCC shall not (and only where it is necessary) without the Consent of the customer transmit Personal Information to TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability in respect of the customer and that TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability may share such information with other registered credit providers and its customers for the purposes required or permitted by the NCA.

Any information conveyed by WCC to TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability may be used by TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability, in the normal course of it’s business as a registered credit bureau any may be accessed and used by other Credit Provided and customers of TransUnion Credit Bureau and Accountability.

All equipment bought from WCC remains the sole property of WCC until paid in full.
