PCB TypesSingle sided Material TypesFR4 Tin-LeadTin lead, selectively applied over bare copper by “Hot Air Solder Levelling” Immersion TinMacdermid “MacStan” immersion tin is offered as a finish for very flat requirements such as BGA pads. This finish has a shelf life of at least 6 months prior to use. Electroless Nickel/Immersion Gold (ENIG)The Rohm and Haas process is used. This is also offered as a finish for very flat requirements such as BGA pads. Minimum nickel thickness is 4 microns, nominal gold thickness is 0.1 microns. Electroplated Gold over Nickel(for edge connectors)Minimum of 1 micron of electroplated hard gold alloy over 5 microns of electroplated nickel. Conductive CarbonElectra ED6000 conductive carbon ink is used to screen print keypads and other electrical contacts. Peelable SoldermaskElectra EM 55 Red peelable mask is applied by silkscreen to selectively mask circuit features as required. |
