Business Conduct

Fire and Emergency Vehicles (Pty) ltd will be a regular member of the emergency services association. They are a professional dedicated to promoting the emergency services industry awareness. Business will be conducted in accordance with our “Code of Ethics”. The key to our success will be contributed to building long term relationship with our customers instead of treating them as clients, working as partners towards providing one goal.

Code of Ethics

It is the purpose of this code of ethics to confirm certain minimum standards in order to foster public confidence in the safety of emergency services operations and the integrity of our business, and to protect the positive reputation of Fire and Emergency Vehicles (Pty) ltd. In order to promote these objectives we adhere to the following code of ethics:

Technical Standards

Vehicles: Vehicles are carried out in accordance with the appropriate legislative regulations. In addition, our quality controller will exercise the best judgment to ensure maximum safety and quality at all times.

Personnel: We employ and assign only experianced employees with current certificates of qualification. In addition, we ensure that our personnel are adequately trained and experienced to complete their assignment satisfactory and in accordance with Fire and Emergency Vehicles (Pty) ltd standards.

Maintenance: Maintenance on our vehicles is performed in a manner that conforms to appropriate legislation. We will not use parts and materials of unknown origin or doubtful specifications. Our maintenance personnel will not release any product or vehicle for emergency service use unless they are satisfied that the product is roadworthy or safe and ok to use.

Equipment: We manufacture and repair vehicles of the customer’s choice, provided that the product/ vehicle are in a roadworthy condition. Furthermore, will only use vehicles suitable for the purpose for which it is intended e.g. rescue, fire fighting.

Business Standards

We strongly comply with sound corporate governance and business ethics.

Advertising: Our advertising is honest and accurately represents the services we are able to offer.

Sales: In selling equipment or parts, or in selling emergency vehicles to industrial, governmental or private customers, we truthfully represent the equipment or service being offered.

Financial: Since financial stability is the hallmark of a leading company in any industry, we exert every effort to anticipate our financial obligations and to meet them promptly and timorously.

Insurance: We will sufficiently be covered in liability insurance to provide adequate and reasonable protection to our clients and the public.
