Bonito Bay Resort is one of those little resorts that you probably don’t know anything about, but once you’ve been there you will definitely go back!  The huge plus of Bonito Bay is of course the VIEW and for divers that it literally sits on the doorstep, right in front of the famous Sylvia’s Shoal and New Years reefs!!  Accommodation ranges from basic to more than comfortable and then also newly built as we speak Loja’s and 10/12 sleeper houses, beautifully decorated and furnished.  Most accommodation is NOT self catering as the Resort also has a very nice Restaurant with a view that will make you forget your food!!

Marloth Park

Marloth Park is a stunning nature reserve just past the town of Komatiepoort.  If you reach the Sasol Garage on your right just before you get to the Komatiepoort border gate (Resano Garcia) you passed it!! It is a convenient and comfortable overnight facility/Resort en-route to Mozambique. This resort is a perfect stopover close to the border gate especially if you encountered problems while traveling and your day has become a looooong one!  The border gate usually closes at 22:00 pm (Dec 24hr open) and therefore this is the sensible place in these situations or just to break a long trip and to take a breather and have a revitalizing experience in the bush veld!!

Marloth Park offers Houses of different sizes and are very affordable. The houses are all privately owned, individually decorated, fully self catering with bedding and are well maintained.  House cleaning services available on request.  All houses are built to compliment the nature reserve and keep all the animals safe.  Wild animals literally graze on your doorstep (not lying!!) anything from Giraffe, Zebra, Springbok, Blue Wildebeest, Kudu and many more.  A real experience of harmony between men and beast!
