Testosterone

little-known-benefits-of-high-testosterone The body as a whole

Testosterone is the principal male sex hormone and affects most, if not all, systems in the male body. A drop in the sensitivity to, or the production of, this hormone has far reaching implications including neurological, metabolic, cardio-vascular, endocrine and reproductive functioning.

Men with low levels of the hormone are also prone to general symptoms, including, mood swings, irritability, poor concentration, and changes in sleep patterns. There is an increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, weight gain, increased cholesterol. One of the most common symptoms is decreased libido and sexual performance.

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) has been clinically proven to treat and alleviate these symptoms and improve well-being.
